Lee Wei Lieh
Visionary artist Lee Wei Lieh (Very Small Exhibition) is deeply committed to transforming spaces beyond conventional limits, infusing them with profound and impactful artistic expressions. He has been instrumental in a myriad of projects that have left indelible imprints on the art scene particularly through his mastery with lights, spontaneity, and keen sense of sustainability. In 2015, he was featured in the publication Prudential Singapore Eye: Contemporary Singapore Art as a local contemporary Artist.
Wei’s creative brilliance has illuminated events like the Singapore Night Festival, i-Light Singapore, Singapore F1 Night Race, SIFA and Singapore Art Week, captivating audiences from Singapore to Prague, and New York. Notably, his work has found a permanent home at Singapore Changi Airport, where it continues to inspire travellers. He also collaborates with diverse local and international artists when opportunities arise, to craft works of art that bring smiles, pique curiosity, and evoke a sense of sheer wonder in those who encounter them.
As Co-founder of House of VSE, Wei has worked with commercial clients including Far East Organization, Disney+, Changi Airport Group, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Lendlease Corporation, Frasers Property and Singapore Grand Prix.
Yiijon
Yiijon is a Taiwanese ceramic artist based in Taipei. His works has been exhibited in Czech Republic, Korea, China, Japan, and Taiwan.
His sculptures center on the relationship between individuals and society: the moments of temporary detachment in urban environments, the needs and desires in intimacy, and the hilarious and strange postures in daily life. He uses porcelain clay as his main material for its softness and irregularities. Through pinching with hands directly, he forms uncertain and ambiguous shapes in his sculptures, expressing feelings of solitude, intimacy, and humor within relationships.
Yiijon is also the founder of Slow Flow Pottery that runs pottery workshops and sell unique handmade porcelain for everyday use in Taiwan.
Yui Ozaki
Prague-based Japanese artist, Yui Ozaki, is known for her playful yet provocative intermedia art that is oft-comedic but informs of gender stereotypes that exist across cultures.
Her first solo exhibition in Singapore in 2023 was wildly received, with lines extending multiple shopfronts eagerly awaiting to enter the exhibition.
Karolina Prom
Meet provocative British performance artist Karolina Prom. Her artistic focus revolves primarily around the human form in its most unadulterated state, challenging and merging the boundaries between art and social experimentation. Frequently presenting herself in a state of undress within her creations, Prom pushes boundaries of conventional art as she explores the complexities of intimacy, vulnerability, and serendipity.
Originating from a background in fine arts, photography and film, she reimagines how photography can transcend into reality while transforming the audience from passive observers into active participants. Her art transcends the passive observer, inviting active engagement in the intriguing realm she crafts. Prom's art has graced international exhibitions across the UK, Germany, Hungary, Spain, Cyprus, and Singapore with House of VSE.
