Meet the Artists
Yiijon
Yiijon is a Taiwanese ceramic artist based in Taipei, whose works have been exhibited in the Czech Republic, Korea, China, Japan, and Taiwan. His sculptures explore the relationship between individuals and society, capturing moments of temporary detachment in urban environments, the nuances of intimacy, and the humorous and strange postures of daily life.
Using porcelain clay for its softness and irregularities, Yiijon pinches the clay directly with his hands to create uncertain and ambiguous shapes. His sculptures convey feelings of solitude, intimacy, and humor within relationships.
Yiijon is also the founder of Slow Flow Pottery in Taiwan, where he conducts pottery workshops and sells unique handmade porcelain pieces for everyday use.
Lee Wei Lieh
Principal Artist, curator and co-founder of House of VSE (short for Very Small Exhibition), Wei is best known for his public light art interventions.
Very Small Exhibition started as an experimental exhibition / installation / project space in 2013, with the intention to give designers/artists a platform to experiment / showcase their work and hopefully bring a smile, curiosity or even wtf-ness to anyone walking past the work. After losing the project space in 2015, Very Small Exhibition has been run solely by Singaporean artist Wei, known for his Very Momentary Exhibition work in Singapore. He has collaborated on projects for Singapore Night Festivals, i Light Singapore, Singapore Grand Prix, and other projects in Singapore, Prague and New York.

Ryan Yee
VIOLINISTRyan Yee is an active participant in the Singapore music scene, playing in ensembles such as The Philharmonic Orchestra, Re:mix, Spot Pocket Opera and the Singapore Lyric Opera. He has also performed several recitals in Bangkok and appeared as a soloist with the Siam Ratchadapisek Chamber Orchestra from 2010 to 2011. In 2013, Ryan was a prize winner in the Intermediate category of the Thailand International Strings Competition and the Strings category of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts’ Music Essentials Concerto Competition.
Born in Singapore and raised in Thailand, Ryan was awarded scholarships for his studies by the Lee Foundation and the Oversea-China Banking Corporation. He was a student at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and the London Royal College of Music where he performed with the NAFA orchestra and the RCM Symphony orchestra under the baton of notable conductors such as Lim Yau, Ashley Solomon and Sir Antonio Pappano.
The Analog Girl
ELECTRONICS MUSICIANWhat started out as a lo-fi bedroom project using portable synthesizers and cassette tape recorders has since evolved into some kind of dreamlike technicolour pop universe - one in which Singaporean electronic avant-pop musician The Analog Girl creates and performs using a myriad of illuminating instruments including the Tenori-On, Monome and Percussa AudioCubes. Named by TIME magazine as one of 5 Music Acts To Watch in 2008,
The Analog Girl has had audiences worldwide plugged into her sound at a spectrum of festivals including CMJ Music Festival in New York, Nick Knightʼs SHOWstudio Revue in London, Worldtronics Festival at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, and Mosaic Music Weekend at Esplanade in Singapore. She has also supported a number of international acts including Justice, Men I Trust, Iceage, and The Whitest Boy Alive.
She has also composed soundtracks for Very Small Exhibition's Bring LOVE Everywhere and In A Rainbow.
